Vacuum furnaces commonly used in vacuum appearance have two main categories: one is the vacuum measurement appearance, also known as the vacuum gauge; the second is the vacuum system air supply flow appearance, also known as gas flow meter.
(1) Static deformation vacuum gauge (also called elastic component vacuum gauge) The surface of the vessel connected to the vacuum is subjected to the atmospheric effect, and the elastic deformation is used to measure the pressure.
(2) Static liquid level vacuum gauge The liquid level difference between the two ends of the u-shaped tube is used to measure the pressure.
(3) The principle of the compact vacuum gauge is to apply the law of the Boyle on the basis of the U-shaped tube, and to add a certain amount of gas to be measured, and the pressure is added by isothermal compaction, so as to measure with a u-tube vacuum gauge, The measured pressure is then accounted for by the relationship between volume and pressure.
(4) The heat conduction vacuum gauge is made by using the principle of gas heat conduction and pressure under low pressure. Commonly used are resistance vacuum gauges and thermocouple vacuum gauges.
(5) The thermal radiation vacuum gauge is made using the principle of gas heat radiation under pressure at low pressure.
(6) The ionization vacuum gauge is made by the principle that the gas molecules are ionized by the hot particles and the ion current changes with the pressure, such as hot cathode ionization vacuum juice, cold cathode ionization vacuum gauge and radioactive ionization vacuum gauge.
(7) The discharge tube indicator uses the gas discharge condition and the color and pressure related properties of the discharge to determine the degree of vacuum, and generally can only be used as a qualitative measurement.
(8) Other vacuum gauges include diaphragm vacuum gauges, magnetic suspension rotor vacuum gauges, field microscopy, quadrupole mass spectrometers, cyclotron mass spectrometers, and radio frequency mass spectrometers.
2. Vacuum system air supply flow appearance
(1) Gas flowmeter When using a vacuum furnace to carry out chemical heat treatment techniques such as carburizing and nitriding, it is necessary to input a gas or a liquid permeating agent into the vacuum chamber, and generally use a rotameter to detect and manipulate the flow rate.
(2) Vacuum needle valve The vacuum trim valve is used to regulate the flow of gas or liquid medium entering the vacuum chamber. The valve body is generally made of stainless steel.
